Stockton-on-the-Forest artist, Julie Lightburn, is delighted to have been selected to take part again this year. She’s a representational artist known for her detailed landscapes, and paintings of rural buildings. She enjoys painting local scenes that provide great inspiration – you won’t need an expert to explain the meaning, or an art degree to “understand” her work, it can just be enjoyed for the beautiful work that it is. If you’ve visited Julie’s studio before you’ll know there are always refreshments and homemade cakes to enjoy while you browse. Her Studio is at the Bull Centre, next door to Dean’s Garden Centre. Once again she’s helping support Dean’s chosen Charity of the Year – The British Heart Foundation.
