Saturday 9th December 10am-12.30pm CHRISTMAS FAIR at Stockton Hall Hospital (admin building). Organised by Holy Trinity church - FREE entry, stalls, books, games, bric-a-brac, CAKES, children's activities + trail and community group fundraising. Everyone welcome!


Charity Bike Sale – Tom Loose at the Village Stores has been servicing and repairing second hand bikes to raise money for his 3 charities, Help for Heroes, Macmillan Cancer Support and the RNLI. VILLAGE SUMMER FAIR - Saturday 12th August 2017 - 10am til 1pm. Holy Trinity church. Everyone welcome, all ages. Free Entry. Stalls, games, cakes, refreshments, village societies, arts and crafts and children's activities. 


Ward Council Meeting Monday 24th July, from 7pm at York Golf Club, Strensall. As well as ward matters there will be basic health checks, a police update and representatives from the YCFC Foundation about youth provision in the area. Everyone welcome.


AGM - The village hall annual general meeting will be held on Monday 15th May at 7.30pm in the Long Room. Everyone welcome.


York Open Studios visit artists all over the city at their studios. In particular come and see our own Julie Lightburn at Studio 14, The Bull Centre where she is joined by fellow acrylics artist Fiona Sheehan. As well as displaying and selling their artwork they will be raising money for Dean's Garden Centre Charity of the Year - Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Cakes and refreshments available too. This Saturday 8th April Easter Activity coffee morning at Holy Trinity Church 10.00am til 12.00noon. Everyone welcome, all ages. Refreshments, cakes, stalls, children's activities and new Easter egg hunt.


 

Do you shop at Sainsbury's? We are collecting Active Kids vouchers for the children of the village. Collection boxes at are School, Stockton Village Hall, the Scout Hut and Holy Trinity Church.

Saturday 11th March - Holy Trinity Church Coffee Morning 10.00am-12.00 noon everyone welcome.

Throughout March - Toby Carvery Hopgrove are having an Easter Egg collection for SNAPPY - Special Needs Activities and Play Provision York. If you would like to donate a chocolate egg to a special needs child for Easter pop in on your way past.
